RibTech EPS foam keeps the helmet strong yet light, and the integrated Stealth Slider lets you control airflow through 12 vents for all-day comfort in changing conditions. What is DVRT technology?

DVRT is Bern's proprietary energy management system. It utilizes five layers of patented sliding membranes that rotate in all directions during oblique impacts, helping to reduce rotational forces and enhance protection.

What is Compass Fit?

The Compass Fit system is a dial in the back to adjust the helmet snugly around your head. It’s quick, secure, and easy to fine-tune.

How do I adjust the fit?

The Macon 2.0 features our Compass Fit system so you can dial in a snug, secure fit with ease. Need to fine-tune it even more? The fit system itself can be adjusted where it connects to the EPS liner for that just-right feel.

What is the Stealth Slider?

The Stealth Slider is Bern’s internal vent control system that lets you easily adjust airflow without bulky external switches. It’s a low-profile slider built inside the helmet shell—push it forward to seal the vents for less airflow on cold days, or slide it back to open things up and let your head breathe.
