Optimal visibility and next level style, the B-1 Chromic Goggle was designed to work in unison with your low profile Bern lid.
The tint color of the photochromic lens will adjust to dark or light conditions. When the UV exposure is strong, the lenses darken gradually. Conversely, when it is weak, the lenses gradually regain their clear state. Photochromic technology provides increased visual comfort with light spectrum filtration indices ranging from 1 to 3 suitable for sunny and cloudy days.

The B-1 Chromic Lens will adapt given the UV exposure it takes in. In simple terms: when there's more sun and it's bright out your lens will darker to help protect your eyes from the brightness. When its cloudy or you're riding at night the lens will clear up helping let more light in for better vision as well.

The B-1 Chromic Goggles are equipped with photochromic lenses that automatically adjust their tint based on UV exposure, delivering clear, optimized vision in any light condition. Whether you're riding through overcast tree runs or bright, sunlit peaks, the Chromic lens adapts in real time—no swapping required. With a cylindrical design for distortion-free clarity, anti-fog coating, and a secure silicone grip strap, these goggles offer seamless performance and all-day comfort. Perfect for riders who want one lens that does it all.
What size is best for me?
Our B-1 Goggles come in two sizes.
We generally recommend the Medium for Jr M/L sized lids, Adult Small & Medium helmets. The Large goggle is recommended for Adult large helmet wearers.
Every face is a tad different however; so we offer measurements of our goggles in the size chart if you'd like to take a measurement of their width in comparison to your face. We'd recommend taking a soft tape measure across your head's temples, across the front of your face and comparing it to our size chart provided.
What is VLT?
VLT stands for Visible Light Transmission—it measures how much visible light passes through a goggle lens, expressed as a percentage. A low VLT (10–20%) means the lens is darker and ideal for bright, sunny days, while a high VLT (50% or more) lets in more light, making it better for cloudy, low-light, or night riding. Choosing the right VLT helps improve visibility, contrast, and overall eye comfort based on the conditions you ride in.
What are the VLT ranges of each lens?
Photochromic Red VLT Range = 16%-71%
Photochromic Silver VLT Range = 16%-63%
Photochromic Blue VLT Range = 11% - 54%
Photochromic Rose VLT Range = 16% - 61%
VLT (Visible Light Transmission) is the percentage of light a goggle lens lets through—lower VLT means darker lenses for sunny days, while higher VLT means lighter lenses for cloudy or low-light conditions.
They're all pretty close! If you think you'll do majority riding in super bright sunny conditions; the Blue offers the lowest VLT, if you dig night riding the Red & Silver let a ton of light in to help you see best when in low light conditions.
What is EN174:2001?
EN174:2001 is a European safety standard for ski and snowboard goggles. It ensures your eyewear meets strict requirements for impact resistance, optical clarity, UV protection, fog and scratch resistance, and cold-weather durability. If your goggles comply with EN174:2001, they're built to perform safely and reliably in winter sports conditions.
