What size is best for me?
Our B-1 Goggles come in two sizes.
We generally recommend the Medium for Jr M/L sized lids, Adult Small & Medium helmets. The Large goggle is recommended for Adult large helmet wearers.
Every face is a tad different however; so we offer measurements of our goggles in the size chart if you'd like to take a measurement of their width in comparison to your face. We'd recommend taking a soft tape measure across your head's temples, across the front of your face and comparing it to our size chart provided.
What is VLT?
VLT stands for Visible Light Transmission—it measures how much visible light passes through a goggle lens, expressed as a percentage. A low VLT (10–20%) means the lens is darker and ideal for bright, sunny days, while a high VLT (50% or more) lets in more light, making it better for cloudy, low-light, or night riding. Choosing the right VLT helps improve visibility, contrast, and overall eye comfort based on the conditions you ride in.
What are the VLT's of Blue vs Silver lens?
B-1 Base Silver Lens VLT = 18
B-1 Base Blue Lens VLT = 34
The Silver will let in less light (ideal for predominantly sunnier conditions)
Keep in mind you can buy replacement Chromic or Zeiss lenses for swapping down the line!
What is EN174:2001?
EN174:2001 is a European safety standard for ski and snowboard goggles. It ensures your eyewear meets strict requirements for impact resistance, optical clarity, UV protection, fog and scratch resistance, and cold-weather durability. If your goggles comply with EN174:2001, they're built to perform safely and reliably in winter sports conditions.
