It’s got a low-profile shell, MIPS for added protection against rotational impacts, and our Compass Fit system to dial things in just right. The EPS liner? That’s RibTech—built with ribbed channels that flex on impact to help take the hit. It’s visor-compatible, winter-ready with an EN1077B rating & compatible winter knit, and vented to keep things cool. From city streets to snowy slopes, this helmet’s built to roll with you all year long.

How do I adjust the fit?

The Macon 2.0 features our Compass Fit system so you can dial in a snug, secure fit with ease. Need to fine-tune it even more? The fit system itself can be adjusted where it connects to the EPS liner for that just-right feel.

What is Mips, and why does it matter?

Mips stands for Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. It's an advanced helmet safety technology designed to reduce rotational forces to the brain during certain angled impacts. Inside a Mips-equipped helmet, a low-friction layer allows the helmet to move slightly relative to the head upon impact, helping to redirect rotational motion that could otherwise cause brain injuries. ​

Can I use the Macon 2.0 for snow sports?

You can! The Macon 2.0 is certified for snow sports (EN 1077B). Our Winter Liner Universal Adult Package will have everything you need to convert this lid for the harsh conditions of the mountain. This includes the winter knit; helmet bag & goggle clip.
