Is this helmet certified for E-Bike use?

Yes — it meets the NTA 8776 E-Bike Standard, which requires 25% more protection than regular bike helmets. It’s built for higher-speed rides up to 28mph.

Is this helmet compatible with a light?

Yes, it is compatible with Bern's Diamond Helmet Light. The light easily attaches to the helmet's rear two-hole mount, enhancing visibility during night rides. (Will not comply if a goggle clip is also installed, only one can be mounted at a time.)

What is Compass Fit?

The Compass Fit system is a dial in the back to adjust the helmet snugly around your head. It’s quick, secure, and easy to fine-tune.

Can I wear the Fremont without the visor?

Yes. The Fremont includes both a visor and interchangeable front pad. You can switch between a classic visor look and a clean, visor-free profile in just a few seconds.

Why does the Fremont include a spare pad?

The Fremont comes pre-installed with a flip visor front pad. If you prefer a clean, brimless look, an additional visor-free front pad is included, allowing you to easily change the style of your helmet in just a few seconds. Lightly remove the front pad from the velcro and put in place the spare padding.
