It’s 20% lighter than the original Macon, but still brings the same tough-as-nails hard shell construction and classic skate style. This lid boasts Mips for added protection against rotational impacts, and it’s compatible with the Bern Diamond Light for extra visibility.

What is RibTech?

RibTech is the EPS liner, re-engineered. Those ribbed channels built into the foam? They’re designed to compress on impact — like crumple zones for your dome. Absorbing force and spreading it out so your head doesn’t take the brunt. It’s lightweight, low-profile protection that works hard without looking like it’s trying.

What is EZ-Fit?

EZ-Fit is a no-fuss elastic fit system that flexes to your head shape. No dial, no adjusting—just pop it on and go.

Is this helmet compatible with a light?

Yes, it is compatible with Bern's Diamond Helmet Light. The light easily attaches to the helmet's rear two-hole mount, enhancing visibility during night rides. (Will not comply if a goggle clip is also installed, only one can be mounted at a time.)
